Pixshot is a free, fast screenshot tool for Windows. What sets it apart: it finds the sensitive parts of a screenshot for you, and traces where your images end up after you send them.
Built for people who send screenshots at work — support, finance, HR, engineering, anyone sharing internal tools with the outside world.
Instead of hunting pixels with a marker tool, hit one button. On-device OCR finds phone numbers, ID numbers, bank cards (Luhn-checked), emails, IP addresses and API keys — and covers only the values, never the labels around them. One undo clears them all.
Send a watermarked screenshot to a client, and every copy carries a recipient name, a tracking code and a near-invisible micro-code tiled across the whole image — it survives cropping. If it leaks, search the code in your history and you know exactly who got that copy.
The free edition is a complete tool, not a trial. These are included, uncrippled:
Free preview: every feature, including Pro, is free for everyone right now. When paid plans start (one-time purchase, no subscription), we'll announce it here and in the app first.
Tell us what's missing or broken — feedback during the preview shapes what ships: support@pixshot.app
